FUDGEY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SLICE

These bars are sweet, chocolatey, fudgey, chewy, rich and perfect for any time. Eat as many as you want, because it's your life and it should be delicious and fulfilling. I just ate one for breakfast and it's probably the best decision I've ever made. I know I have about one million recipes similar to this one already published on my blog, but I will never stop sharing variations of chocolate peanut cups / cakes / bars / etc. The combo is a classic for a REASON. I shared these bars with my mom and best friend: mom said "yum", BF said "one of my fave recipes from you... ever".

Side note: I wanna let you know about a massive giveaway my fave skincare company is hosting. Luminance Skincare is giving away a year's supply of their luscious hand-crafted vegan body care products. Trust me: you don't wanna miss your chance to win this. I use their rosewater toner, body butters and soaps everyday and their masks once a week. My cupboard is stocked full of their lovely bottles and jars, and always will be. See more info here to enter (you just have to sign up for their mailing list). I cannot say enough about how much I adore this company, their ethics and the quality of their products.

I think this is all I'm gonna write for this post because honestly I can't think of anything else to say, and I have a ton of shit to get done today. Enjoy the bars! XO

FUDGEY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SLICE
[ makes 4 slices ]

1/4 cup cacao butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 cup dates
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
1 teaspoon ashwaganda powder (optional)
1 teaspoon reishi mushroom powder (optional)
1/4 cup coconut milk, or more as needed

1/3 cup unsalted peanut butter or your fave nut/seed butter

Melt the cacao butter and coconut oil on low in a small, heavy pot. Blend this together with the rest of the ingredients (except the peanut butter), adding coconut milk as needed to get a very thick, creamy mixture. Spread half of this evenly into a small lined baking pan. Spread on the peanut butter. Finally spread on the remaining fudge. Sprinkle with more salt if you like. Leave in the fridge overnight, slice and enjoy!
