guest post: cancer reversing power juice recipe {by nathan crane}

Here's another guest post! I hope you are enjoying them, as lately I have been too busy to make recipes for you guys. Sad face. Anyways I'd like to say this the video linked in this post has some potentially controversial opinions about cancer that aren't necessarily the same opinions I hold. Nevertheless, they are interesting and I'd love to hear your perspective on the post! Read on!

The truth about cancer is that most people treat the symptom, yet never really determine the cause.
To make lasting changes and transformations, we must figure out the cause, and then dissolve or transform the cause, not the phenomena created by the cause.

The truth is that cancer does not begin from acidity, bad food, or toxins in the air, it begins in the mind.  First your mind must produce the thoughts to tell your body what to do.  Your body can not go out and eat junk food, smoke cigarettes, and swim in toxic pollutants without your mind.  Your mind is the deciding factor when it comes to your health.  Once you get your mind under control, then you can get your health under control. In this video I discuss the true cause of cancer as well as a powerful cancer preventative juice recipe you can make at home.

Below are some fun facts I found out about this delicious raw food juice that I drink every morning.
Here they are:

KALE
According to WEBMD – One cup of chopped kale contains 33 calories and 9% of the daily value of calcium, 206% of vitamin A, 134% of vitamin C, and a whopping 684% of vitamin K. It is also a good source of the minerals copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus.
Vitamin K has been linked to the prevention and reversal of Cancerous cells.

CUCUMBERS
According to Natural News – Cucumbers are a good source of B vitamins which will help give you lot’s of energy.  Cucumbers also contain three types of lignans which have a strong history of research in connection with reduced risk of several cancer types, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and prostate cancer.
Cucumber juice contains a hormone which is needed by the cells of the pancreas for producing insulin which has been found to be beneficial to diabetic patients.
Keep the skin on, it contains a good amount of Vitamin C.

MINT
According to Pak Tribune, there was a research study done by Ashok Sharma in India where Mint was applied with Basil to cancerous tumors.  The results were astounding.  Those with the regular dose of the mixture were much more resistant to cancer than those without.  Mint has phytocehmicals which helps cutoff the blood supply to cancer.

PARSLEY
According to Health Diaries.com, Studies show that myristicin, an organic compound found in parsley, inhibits tumor formation and fights against oxidized molecules.  Myristicin can also neutralize carcinogens like benzopyrene in cigarette smoke that can pass through the body, consequently fighting against colon and prostate cancer.

CELERY
Celery contain a phytochemical that research suggests has strong anti-inflammatory action. Plant components (phytochemicals) appear to have the ability to protect us from harmful inflammation, which can increase the risk of cancer, heart disease and insulin resistance.

WALNUTS
According to a study at the Marshall University School of Medicine in West Virginia. Mice were fed a daily diet with the human equivalent of two ounces (60 g) of walnuts a day. Compared to mice fed a control diet, the walnut eaters had significantly decreased breast tumour incidence and a slower rate of tumour growth.
Walnuts are also high in antioxidants and Omega 3 which can help against a number of diseases, including inflammatory diseases.

I am a medical student and I am eating a raw vegan diet including potatoes, brown rice and quinoa. In my opinion it is one of the healthiest ways to eat - if you do it right. You should really get into the bodys chemistry and fysiology if you want to understand how nutrition works. And I really understand that this is diffucult especially if you're not a scientist.
But nevertheless I don't want to accept postings like this. It might be true that eating a raw food diet can prevent cancer especially the progress. But this argumentation- I guess from a layman - is just not enough. Nobody ever proved this by research. Or what are your sources other than webmd? This is popular science. An it's sad that these information are spread through the internet.
I stopped reading after the explanation why kale could prevent cancer. It is not so easy. And people shouldn't lose the faith in sciences like medicine just because they think this easy explanation ,,vitamin K - reversal of cancerous cells''works.
Nutrition is prevention - but it's not healing. There is no evidence.

thanks for that opinion. this is why i put my own little disclaimer at the beginning. i don't think that every case is the same so it's not like every one with cancer can get rid of it by eating kale. but i have heard countless stories of cancer reversal through different ways of healthy eating and lifestyle change so that is evidence enough for me that holsitic nutrition as a form of healing (and prevention) needs to be taken seriously.

It's not all about science, especially when most of the research is being backed by large pharmaceutical companies. We are currently living through the dark ages of medicine. We are supposedly more advanced than we ever have been, and yet people are sicker. We make it so much more complicated than it is. When you eat well and live well, you will be healthy.

Thank you for this! I mean of course the Earth would provide us with everything we need to be living healthy and vibrant lives. The simplicity of it all is so beautifully powerful.

The pictures you have on top of the page look so good. If you did all of those yourself, you certainly have a talent for making food look appetizing. This is one of the factors that influences whether people will actually do what is good for them. What we eat definitely impacts the way our bodies function.

A healthy lifestyle influences over overall wellness. Cutting down on habits like eating fatty foods or having foods that are high in preservatives helps to ensure that we will live longer.
